Good place, local musicians perform in the weekends, great atmosphere and food. Sometimes gets very busy and wait time is a bit longer but it is worth it.

It was Christmas eve and everyone was enjoying themselves. The food was good and the staff was friendly.

Just waited for 25 minutes for a table. Then they told me the kitchen was closed after I specified I was there for dinner.

First time there, and definitely not the last. The staff was quick and courteous, and the food and drinks were great.

Just had fish and chip halibut diner..Outstanding..halibut was flaky and lightly battered..deep fried perfectly..fries not overcooked and fabulous tasting..take out at it's best.

A very cozy place with awesome staff 👍. Great selection on tap. Live music on weekends night. And a delicious menu 😋

We reserved the upstairs for a company party. Quaint pub atmosphere. Food was good. Service was excellent. Especially since we had the whole upstairs bar to ourselves. Live music downstairs was nice too. Would definitely return.

Great service/ atmosphere. The beer battered pickels+ herbivore sandwich and house salad were amazing!! Sat on the patio for our meal on a sunny day and had cider it was awesome.

Food is pretty good. The menu could use a bit of a refresher. It's been pretty much the same since they've opened. Not bad, I'm just looking for something new. Beer choices are fairly standard "English" style beers. I know it doesn't necessarily fit the "British pub" theme but they should add a few local taps. There are some awesome local breweries that they could rotate through. I go there because they have beer, not because it's British beer.

Newer place, heard the burgers were good. My $15 burger platter was good, same with my $6.40 Newcastle, fresh cut fries also good. My buddy got the 3pc fish and chips, subbed in onion rings and got a pretty small portion for $23.Overall decent but better places to go for big portions at same or lower price point.

Beautiful atmosphere at the Thompson House. I've order a variety of items here and they were all made very well. My special fav is the Halibut and chips, they don't completely swamp your dish in fries like other place. Just enough to make it right. The coleslaw was very good, again in just the right proportion to your meal. All in all, a wonderful place to have dinner.

Great food, polite servers and fun environment. Very well decorated and comfortable.

My husband and I visited the patio this past Saturday evening. What a great evening. We handn't been out alone in some time, sadly.Our server was Maria, andShe was great!!! Great sense of humour, respectful, and prompt service!The atmosphere was spaced well, no mosquito issues, and music was at an enjoyable level, to still enjoy conversation.We ordered our favorite irish nachos dish to share, wished there had been more in our order, but the flavour is unbeatable!... Maria was so sweet, even as we were leaving she saw us off with a friendly wave.We will definitely be back, thanks to Maria, and this pleasant atmosphere👍👍

A quaint local pub with a comfortable atmosphere, good food (try the corned beef!) , a decent booze selection and attentive staff. Bring your best buds to share your suds!

I've been coming here for a long time. Not sure why it took so long for me to write a review, but here it is. Great staff. Great food. Huge selection of beers on tap. Can't go wrong when choosing this place for a night out.

Once again, Thompson House never disappoints. Today, I absolutely enjoyed their roasted beet and arugula salad, chef's soup and beer battered pickles. And for dessert, their sticky toffee pudding is one of the greatest foods that I have ever eaten. Cannot wait to come back again.

Visited Thompson House for the first yime for my son's birthday, food was delicious!! they had a glitch and lost our order but made up for it by giving us dinner on the house. Great waitress, even offered us alcoholic beverages after we ordered also on the house. Totally made up for the long wait. Thank you, will definitely go back

We are a large, young group that comes to support our friend whenever he plays live. The staff are always very accommodating to us, even when we get a little rowdy. The service isn't very fast, but staff are always friendly. Very crowded on the weekends. Pretty good mixture of a young&old crowd. If you want great live entertainment on Fridays, Thompson is the place to be!

Excellent food. Great pub atmosphere. Service has been excellent. Decent beer selection and food.options. in a good neighbourhood. One problem is the price. $8 for a pint of draft beer is a bit much. Food prices are equally high. Another problem for us is that there are no options for kids. Which I guess makes sense for a pub.

Great atmosphere, staff are happy and friendly and on the ball. Food is always delicious, have never left unsatisfied. Gotta love place with live music also. Highly recommend

Cozy windsor pub, great for a meal with the family or drinks with friends. Both large tables for groups and more private seating for a date night. Awesome patio for summer nights.

Went for a couple of drinks. Waitress was great and the entertainment was awesome. Loved how Rob and Kelly share the stage with the regulars.(no not me)

Service was good. Decent beer selection also. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the crabcakes. They were cooked well and the sauce was good. I couldn't taste crab atall. It tasted more like tuna. A little pricey also.

One of my favorite places with the word "house" in the name. The menu items are not overly contrived , but they do not disappoint the pallet :) everything from the crab cakes to the steakhouse quality steak , to pub favourites like bangers or perch , seems to be made with tots of care and is portioned generously. Further, the staff and bar tenders are super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Basically you cant go wrong!

Good food but service needs some work. Had a party of 12 and our server only came by every 45+ minutes to see if we needed anything. At one point everyone at the table had empty glasses for 30 minutes until someone had to wave one down. 3 drinks in 3 hours.

The guy that works the bar at lunch is great. His suggestions are bang on. Hits the spot every time. Delicious food!

Immediately dug the pub vibe. Mixed crowd, young and old. The only thing missing was some live music. Get rid of the TVs and it would be near perfect

Nice comfortable atmosphere, not noisy, small parking lot but you can park on side streets, busy place but got our food and drinks quite quickly. Staff was friendly and quickly cleaned our tables when it was alerted to their attention that it was dirty. Food tasted great. Prices on par with other pubs for entrees and apps but the sides were pricier. Tasty food though so I will go back in the future to try other menu items. 👍😁

Never disappoints, food is always great and the atmosphere is awesome.

Very clean, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff. Guiness in tap (that's a bonus for me). I tried the lamb stew, which could be improved by either more seasoning (garlic, salt &pepper),or by adding their DELICIOUS mashed potatoes atop the stew and covering with the puff pastry topping.

This is a nice (upscale) pub/restaurant. I say upscale because the place is newly built and the food and drink prices are definitely upscale. The menu is short with pub-style fare and the food is decent, never been disappointed with it honestly. The staff is always very friendly and attentive.

I loved the atmosphere on a Saturday night! The live entertainment was great, and the place itself was buzzing with energy. I will definitely be back to try the Irish Nachos which looked fantastic!

What a great spot to enjoy the atmosphere and your British Isle roots! Had a great time, food was excellent! Shared the 2pc halibut and chips, just enough not to fall into a food coma! Stella on draught! Strongbow & all your favs cold and ready to enjoy! The Irish Chips are amazing!!!

Best crab cakes ever, and I am from Nova Scotia. Great atmosphere and the staff are amazing.

Always a great time here. I must say, the live entertainment is far too loud, and most people are going out to hangout and talk with friends, and the extremely loud music definitely prevents that. But this place is still great, despite the 'too loud' live entertainment.

We stopped in awhile ago for dinner. Great atmosphere and awesome food. Can’t wait to go back!
